The most strategic point on the board is the ones on the middle square. They form the entry and exit point for the bigger outer square and the inner square. So placing the piece on this helps in forming a wise move to get a combination of millis. Maneuvering to block all of the opponent’s pieces from forming a row of three is the most devious of moves in this game. During the resumed game predicting the further move of the opponent does helps.
