ORIGIN OF GHOSTS
Do you feel the chills running down your spine, already? Do you feel the emancipating presence? What about the screams? – Nothing you say! Well you still haven't played the game of 'Ghosts' yet! It's a board game developed in 1980 by Alex Rudolph and was released in 1982 by Milton Bradley. As with many Milton Bradley games, the components are very good, in this case an attractive board and 16 large plastic ghosts. The game has been released in a couple of different versions by different companies, one of the more recent is a German edition called Geister by Drei Magier Spiele.
This game is played between two people. The board is laid onto an equally spaced 6X6 grid, and each of the two players get 8 ghosts, each identical in color and shape. The 'Ghost' pieces are marked with a yellow and blue dot to distinguish them as – 'bad and good ghosts!' The yellow marking represents the good ghost and blue signifies the bad one. Both the opponents are refrained from knowing the dotted colors, of the opposite player’s pieces.
