GHOSTS RULES
Each player aligns their 8 identical ghosts on the four spaces of the two rearmost rows. The players can choose to place the ghosts in any order of distinguished colors they prefer. Play resumes by moving a piece one space forward or backwards, left or right. Diagonal movements along the board are prohibited. If a player moves onto an opposing ghost, it can be captured and the player gets to reveal whether it is a "good" or "bad" ghost. There are several ways to win:
- Move one of the blue ghosts off an opposing corner of the board.
- Capture all the opponents' blue ghosts.
- The opponent captures all of the yellow ghosts.
There is a third option too:
The third option makes it quite an interesting play. When any one of the two opposing players, capture all the yellow marked pieces off the board, the player loosing the yellow pieces (at the opponent) ‘actually wins the game. If any player has captured nearly three yellow dotted pieces, the possibility to mark a win seems eminent. If only the wining player shows some brilliance in movement of the pieces, and tries bluffing his way around the board. While playing, this point in the game becomes a serious fun owed to the sheer curiosity factor that rises among the two opponents.
