AGRICOLA RULES
The rules of the game are not too complicated but the players are required to take some extra care while understanding them. The players pose as farmer families in this game. While playing this game, all the players are given 14 chances to complete each game. The payers get to act twice in a single turn. The players are given two tokens at a time to play their turns. First turn is for the player while the other turn is for the spouse of the player. However, both the turns are played by the players only. And there are six phases for harvesting the produce in the farms. This harvesting can be done after the players have played the turns 4, 7, 9, 11, 13 and 14. The player can take a particular action just once in a turn, so they have to be very careful in selecting what action would yield the maximum result and would prove to be more beneficial for the entire team. It would also increase the chances of gaining more points. There is a wide range of choices to make for selecting the action the players want to perform. As the players move on, they are given more options to choose from. In total there are seven occupation cards that the players can choose from. And each card has about 22-23 options in it. Every time the players make a move, a new option card is flipped over. The players have new options to decide the next moves The game can be played for a duration of about 120 -180 minutes, depending on the playing speed of the players. It is a family game. But it can be played solo as well as with a group of players. In the beginning one person holds 7 job cards in a hand. And in the other, 7 item cards.
There are various types of materials used in this game. The game has 27 clays and 360 cards to choose from. They are selected as options for making moves, 50 or a few more tiles, 9 boards for putting up the farm along with everything required for the farm, and a scoring pad to keep a record so that it can be checked who is winning or wins at the end. The basic target of the game is to make a farm as beautiful as possible and well equipped the players can make it.
